Admission to Singaporean kindergartens typically requires children to be between 3-4 years old, and no testing is needed.
Even children whose parents do not work in Singapore or do not have Singaporean residency can directly enroll in kindergartens. Young children can adapt quickly to the bilingual education environment in Singapore, laying a solid foundation in English for future primary and secondary education.
Accompanying Parent Policy: After a child successfully obtains a student visa, one of the child's mother, grandmother, or maternal grandmother can accompany and take care of the child with an accompanying relative visa.
Direct Admission to Primary One Without Exam: After completing kindergarten as an international student, if there are sufficient vacancies in government schools, children can advance to Primary One without an entrance exam.
